Lisa has written about Paris history, architecture and amazing neighborhoods for Fodor's guidebooks. She has reviewed all sorts of restaurants for Time Out--from delightful to dubious--and last year, she coped with gruelling research for the Michelin's Alsace-Lorraine & Champagne Green Guide by sampling as many bubblies as possible.
As well as writing for travel books, Lisa has reviewed museums, cafes, bars, films, buildings, and books for a variety of media. In 2003, her "Paris Notes Buildings" appeared, a downloadable 25-building popular introduction to Paris architecture. Before taking up travel writing, she worked as French correspondent for Billboard Magazine.
Lisa is currently a member of PEN Canada. Lisa`s articles have appeared in newspapers & magazines such as: The Globe and Mail, The Literary Review of Canada, Paris Notes, The San Francisco Examiner, Strategies Europe, The Calgary Herald, The Georgia Straight, New York Living, The National Post, andThe Chicago Tribune.
