Great Streets, Curious Minds

Recently I was thinking how different the light is, in different cities. This is mid-afternoon coffee in Hanoi a few years ago--with the very specific combination of unsalted sunflower seeds with coffee. Though the shells get stuck in my pointy teeth, the contrast with the rich coffee is surprisingly pleasing. I've been thinking a lot about what's special on different streets around the world, what makes them wonderful, how we can make our streets better... for this "Curious Minds At Home" series: GREAT STREETS OF THE WORLD Join me for some virtual walking, from the Ramblas in Barcelona to the Silk Road in Kyrgyzstan... available starting March 25th. I'm also continuing to work on my podcast audio walks-- check out my evolution as I learn how to podcast I'm thrilled that the New Orleans musician David Symons recorded an accordion track for my opening music.
