Saint River

Saint River

A video featuring lyrics taken from my recent book, THE RIPARIAN...

I'm extremely lucky to live with a singer, the amazing Bremner Duthie. Lately he's been writing songs inspired by the unpredictable muddy river that is running very fast & very high these days a few blocks from our front door.

This particular song is called "Saint River". Bremner wrote & sang this song in our living room; the lyrics are from my poems in THE RIPARIAN. Published by Frontenac House, the book is a poetic narrative featuring a river ghost.

p.s. yes, the artificial crow, Dickens, who lives on the piano, really is keeping an eye on us all
